Luis Suarez: 7 dives, 6 screams, 9 floor-rolls, 15 gestures to ref, 5 big teeth, 0 goals

My apologies to Gareth Bale. Last week, I had labelled him a cheating, diving c*nt. I’ve seen the error in my ways today with Luiz Suarez. Please Bale, accept my apologies and in future, I’ll always remember the Uruguayan for all he really is. I felt disgusted with his theatrics, and that was a feeling echoed by most of the Arsenal team. You just have to look at Vermaelen’s expression when Suarez went down. It was a foul, I admit, but there was nothing in it for him to go down like that. And there was absolutely no contact on the penalty, and his reaction was disgraceful, and that’s putting it politely…

He assists when he wants, he scores when he wants!

Where to actually start? Szczesny and Robin van Persieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yeah, that’s a good enough start. I don’t care if Arsenal is labelled a one-man team, I don’t care if Arsenal tends to struggle in games away from home, I don’t really care if referees tend to go blind in games and have daft rulings against us. All I care about is that Arsenal won this game when it really counted, and that we showed champions’ qualities under immense pressure. The two goals were brilliant again, and really highlighted the world-class player that Robin van Persie is. That’s 31 for the season in all competitions, and there’re still a lot of games to go. Form like this gives me hope of a 5-0 against Milan on Tuesday, and a lot of hope at that!

Szczesny was my Man of the Match without a hint of doubt. Sure, Van Persie scored the two goals which got us the win, but Szczesny kept us in it, pulling off a whole lot of saves when it really counted. He felt cheated when Suarez dived so blatantly, and justice was served with the save. Lol at Adams’s reaction when he was ordered out of taking the penalty by the Liverpool bench, and there was a real smug expression on his face when Kuyt missed. And his corners were a joke; someone once remarked that Liverpool spent 10million on him just for his corner-taking ability, and that’s what bought you…

Liverpool dictated the play for most of the game, and we did well to hold fort. The own goal was unfortunate; I won’t make excuses for the lad, but I suppose some blame could be put down to the greasy surface from the rains. Some attention will be needed to be paid on the training ground, and I’m sure Koscielny will work hard himself. The Frenchman has improved immensely over the last year, and I guess it’ll be better for him to only take it in his stride and move on.

A lot of Liverpool fans have been crying a lot over this match, and I’ve got a couple of friends myself who have crying over the result. So I’ll just point some things out.

1) That was a clear dive from the c*nt. Any honourable person who has seen the highlights will see that there was absolutely no contact, and then he’s drama-acting like someone killed him.

2) There was an elbow by Carragher in RVP’s face, which the ref didn’t even acknowledge inspite of Rosicky’s and the Dutchman’s appeals.

3) Spearing’s foot was nearer to Rosicky’s knee when he slid in that the actual ball. It was right in front of the ref, and he didn’t even stop the play when the Czech Republic captain was lying on the ground. The Liverpool player only put the ball out of play because of the travelling Gooners, who made their exasperation clearly seen.

4) Suarez clearly clipped Arteta from behind, and then he pleads innocence like that?!

5) Robin van Persie lashes out at a Liverpool player once, ONCE, and the ref pulls him up. What about Spearing’s and Carragher’s repetitive hands in Gunner faces?

6) The ref clearly couldn’t see Suarez and Szczesny when he dived. And as far as I could see, he didn’t even converse with the linesman on the headpieces either. I don’t know the exact laws of football, but I’m pretty sure that you’re not supposed to give a penalty based on only player reactions….

7) I dare any Liverpool fan to protect Henderson’s ‘assault’ on Arteta. He could clearly see where he was running, and his shoulder actually moved towards the Spaniard’s face. He was sly enough to do it behind the ref’s back, so he wasn’t even pulled up. And I don’t really trust the FA which will take action against him, so why even bother protesting? I just hope that Arteta has a full recovery. He had a full concussion and was down for a long time, so we can just hope at this point of time.

8 ) Abou Diaby made a brief return in the Spaniard’s absence, and looked sharp in his return. And then he was substituted again, and I dont know what to say.

9) Again, Suarez is a cheating diving c*nt. No more words….

10) Wojciech Szczesny is going to be one of the best keepers in the world soon enough, if he already isn’t!

11) Do you really want me to go on?…

At the end, Arsenal have now won the last 4 Premier League matches on the trot, and we’re in a great run of form now. I don’t think many Gooners were expecting 6 points from those two games against the Spuds and Liverpool at Anfield, but I guess we showed them what Arsenal FC is all about. Respect for the club, that’s all I’ll say.

Cheers
